In the evening, The Bridge Bistro is something to really  savour.

 

Our combination of comfort and well prepared menus with efficient and friendly service provide an elegant informality for your dining experience.

 

We pride ourselves on using only locally produced or supplied ingredients for our bistro dishes. Our menus are therefore ever changing in line with the seasons and the availability of the highest quality ingredients.

 

We aim to ensure our food never fails to impress. Little doubting you will be spoilt for choice and highly satisfied.

Starters

Soup of the Day

Heart warming bowl of our fabulous soups, served with a fresh roll.

Deep Fried Breaded Brie

With a salad and our own mango chutney.

Garlic Mushroom En Croute

Pan fried garlic mushrooms nesting on a slice of freshly toasted bread.

Anchovies Salad

Served with salad, bread and a lemon pickle.

King Filo Prawns

Served with salad and a sweet chilli dip.

Black Pudding

Yopped with a poached egg, crispy bacon and a mustard dressing.

 

Main Courses

Lakeland Casserole

Beef casserole with creamed potatoes and seasonal vegetables.

Baked Cod

Grilled fillet of cod with a buttered spinach and tomato salsa.

Lamb Henry

Shoulder of lamb henry with red cabbage, mash potato and a mint jus.

Vegetarian Lasagne

Chef's famous wild mushroom, broccoli and stilton lasagne served with chunky chips and salad.

Fillet Surf & Turf

Fillet steak served with seared grevettes, salad and chips.

Free Range Chicken Breast

Breaded with stilton cheese and mushroom sauce.
